


Ashridge has been awarded a tenth consecutive British Safety Council International Safety Award. The British Safety Council is one of the world’s leading advocates of workplace health and safety and is supported by the Health and Safety Executive. This award acknowledges the commitment that winners have made to improving corporate health and safety and rewards the success of achieving high safety standards.
With over 600 applications from across the world, the win is a true testament to Ashridge’s dedication to the health and safety of its workforce. The International Safety Awards are open to all industries and sectors from across the globe and are independently adjudicated. They are seen as an excellent motivator for businesses looking to attain high standards in workplace health and safety.
The International Safety Awards are judged by an independent panel of experts who look for hard evidence of how an organisation maintains acceptable standards of health and safety on the ground.


| Works continue in Kingston upon Thames on this schools contract for the Primary Expansion Programme in the Borough of Kingston upon Thames which forms part of the Improvement and Efficiency South East (IESE) Framework. Ashridge is working at 5 schools in the borough; St Pauls Junior School, Grand Avenue Primary School, Alexandra Infants School, Ellingham Primary School and St Matthews Primary School. Works include general groundworks, alterations to school buildings and new build. The Kingston Upon Thames Primary Expansion Programme was a result of a substantial rise in the birth rate and subsequent increase in the number of resident children in the Local Authority area. This programme is designed to permanently increase the number of primary school places in the Borough. Improvement and Efficiency South East (IESE) is one of nine Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnerships (RIEPs) and was established to work with the south east's 74 local authorities to facilitate and fund projects that will drive efficiencies and service improvements across the region. |

Ashridge has recently completed this £1 million 278 Works contract which was part of the East Anton development at Andover The contract for Trench Farrow, part of the WYG Group on behalf of Taylor Wimpey was specifically for junction and roundabout improvements and consisted of construction and repaving works including excavation, footpaths, sub-base, road base and block paving as well as roundabout reduction, traffic signals and street lighting. | |
