November '07 - The Queen Opens Pinewood Studios Gatehouse

Ashridge has a long standing relationship with Pinewood  Studios. Ashridge was the Contractor on this project responsible for the civil engineering works which included two roundabouts and a new access road.

Above picture shows Nick Shires (Ashridge) and Jeremy Muscroft (Stuart Michael Associates) being presented to HM The Queen.

In his speech on 2 November inviting the Queen to officially open the gatehouse Ivan Dunleavey the CEO of Pinewood Shepperton stated  “This new entrance is a symbol of the exciting future that lies ahead at Pinewood. My congratulations and thanks to the project team, contractors and Pinewood staff on completing the project on time and budget: you all deserve an Oscar for Best Performance!”
